Second EP from Anybody's King.

These four songs are a meditation on life and loss.

"Mind Lapse" is an ambient electronic piece with a simple three note theme.

"Oceans and Fields" is a more orchestrally arranged tune, with a recorder carrying the main theme. To me it evokes pastoral meadows on a breezy day.

"Somebody Else's Memory" began as a simple melody with a simple chord progression. Adding some complex harmonies with a simple piano sound makes it feel to me like a bittersweet memorial.

"Rutland Hills" is the finale, with a reprise of some of the earlier themes in a darker ambient feel to bookend the EP.

Recorded, mixed, and masteded in my basement in South Philadelphia.
